it looks cleanest in the center console behind the cupholder.

-- "nah-nah-nah"....best in is the right side air vent, above radio door - may be hardest to install, but "best place" by far !!

I acut place mine under the footwell. Didn't have to hack up my interior and it keeps people from seeing it. Heres a shot

To me this was the cleanest install I could think of. I was able to run all the wires real neat so you can only see them coming out of the edfc. Later.

-- i admit, thats not bad - but right vent above radio door allows cool factor look (garage kept away from thieves), and ease of use - and doesn't take away any leg room, although thats probably not an issue

Mines garage kept as well lol. Plus I don't do much adjustments have the 3 setups I use saved on the presets. Pretty easy when driving to reach under and feel the three buttons and pick one since I know what each preset for each button is. At 6'1" never had a problem with leg room since the EDFC rest above the foot well.

Yes I def do lose the cool factor cause you can only see it if I tell someone to look under the footwell but again didn't want to cut my dash.

hmmmm wouldn't have a pic of that would you? Also did you do anything different to re route the air that would normal come out of the vent when the a/c or heat is on? Thanks.

-- i'll dig up a pic for you - i did nothing regarding re-directing air flow from that vent - it has been fine, as temperatures are not getting extreme in any way - it is definately positioned for ease of use - and although i am basically a "set it and forget it" type of driver, the EDFC unit does make it easy to break that habit, and i'd say anyone owning any type of real deal sports car, and enjoys getting in and out of twisty sections, should have 1 of these set-ups wether it be TEIN-edfc or anyone elses

lol i started this thread because i am trying to put my EDFC in a good spot in my AP2 I was thinking about removing the audio controls around the start button and cutting a square out to put it in there but if i put a roll cage in this would all be pointless so i am not sure yet
