AP2 Mugen Exhaust into AP1

Default AP2 Mugen Exhaust into AP1

I'm driving an AP1 right now and planning to buy AP2 type s in 4/5 years. i want to install AP2 Mugen exhaust into my AP1 bcos later i can just install it into the AP2. Just wondering whether its possible or not. im wondering whether its possible for the exhaust manifold too. thank u

The header will fit as the overall size is the same, but the pipe designs are quite different between the two header designs. Using a mis-matched header might result in a loss of power. I recall that using the Rick's header on an ap2 resulted in poor power, but worked well on an ap1.

You should be fine on the exhaust system.

The mugen exhaust is supposed to be the same for ap1 and ap2 besides having different tips.
