Thumbs up AP2 OEM front lip

Hey guys, I'm about ready to pull the trigger on a front lip for my AP2. I noticed the shipping weight is 70 lbs So some of this is obviously packaging material weight but... geez

Would anyone happen to know the approx weight of the AP2 OEM lip?

Thanks

They do not weigh anywhere near that amount. It is 5 lbs max.

I think that is the weight it is classified as since the box is so big despite the actual weight. I know HTG has a disclaimer about this on his site.

its because the box is bulky thats why the weight is classified as heavier than it actually is. daktruckie99 is right, it is around 5 lbs

If it actually weighed 70lbs your wouldn't need to buy lowering springs in the front

They call that "dimensional-weight" or something along those lines.

Bascially it's the heavier of the actual weight, or the weight "implied" by the size of the box (so that they could charge you an arm and a leg for a big box )
