Default Ap2 reinforcement bar

So I ordered an ap2 reinforcement bar a month ago and just realized it looks like my ap1. Did majestic Honda send me the wrong one? They said it was the right one but I don't think so. I don't know how an ap2 crash bar/ reinforcement bar looks like. Anybody have an ap2 to show me so I can send it back and get the right one. I'd appreciate it a lot.
Bottom pic is my old one and top is new

How do you know they are supposed to be different? The chassis is the same, so I would expect at least 00-05 to share this component, if not all 00-09. Does it bolt up?

I ordered the bar from an 05 (prob should have ordered from 06-09) and I did so because as you can see from the old bar, it had to be cut at the corners to accommodate the ap2 bumper. My car is an ap1 and I didn't like the cut corners look. It bolts up but as you can see, it looks the same.

I thought AP1 and AP2 front bars were different because of the bumper. AP1 owners have to either modify their stock bar or use an AP2 bar if they want to use an AP2 bumper.

The corners of the AP1 bar press against the AP2 bumper causing spider web cracks over time.

Thank you guys, I found out it was the ap2 bar because of how the bar on the corners slanted down. I just saw and it is the same as the pic up. Thanks again.
