Default ap2 tail conversion ?

i assume the majority of you cut the existing rear panel to install the ap2 tails. has anyone thought of replacing that panel to the ap2? what is involved to replace it.

When I did mine on my old AP1, the cutting was pretty easy. I wouldn't think replacing that whole rear section would be easy. Pretty sure it's welded/riveted into place.

I think you'd have to cut then weld.. Not worth it-- just cut what's already there
