ap2 valve cover on an ap1

Default ap2 valve cover on an ap1

is it true if u put an ap2 valve cover on an ap1 it will reduce oil consumption

Maybe , but make sure you look for an 04-05 cover. You'll also need the required PCV hardware aswell.

I can't see it reducing oil consumption but the 04-05 valve cover does use a different pcv valve

I put a ap2 VC on my ap1 and still blow smoke on track. That said, the baffling and PCV on the ap2s ARE indeed better. My ap1 doesn't burn oil though, so I dont have a valid test to run.

i dont think it makes a difference. I have an ap2 04-05 valve cover on my stock 120,000 mile f20c and it burns the same about of oil. The baffeling is better so with track driving and hard corning it may be better. But i dont track my car.
