Considering getting a new bumper and been looking at the APR GT bumper. Hows the fitment of their s2000 bumpers? I've only seen 2 reviews on this site, one saying it's horrible and one saying its perfect. How much do shops normally charge for fitment?

 

Not sure haven't seen one but as for the shop question it really depends on the body shop. Making it fit is generally labor intensive so whatever the bodyshops hourly rate is.

 

I just got one a couple weeks ago. I'm not very happy with the fitment around the inside corners of the headlights. There is also a little gap under the headlights as well. Everywhere else, it fits good. I'll post some pics when I get home, so you can see what I'm talking about. Overall I'm happy with it, but it could a lot be better. My body shop quoted me $800 to get it perfect around the headlights, like I wanted... SMH. It's no where close to as bad fitting as Chaser and Exteme Dimensions though. Although, not as good as my old Shine ASM.

 

Although I prefer the more squarish look of the APR, I might just pick up an Amuse to avoid fitment issues. If I were to pay $800 for fitment, that is a $1400 bumper.

 

I have one and it fits perfectly. No complaints here.

 

are there any good diy's for fitting aftermarket bumpers? like what materials you use and methods?
