I just ordered an apr gtc-200 wing
I didn't pay attention when I ordered it, I just noticed that I bought a universal one with 42.5" base wide not an s2000 fit.

I know I should get the s2000 fit coz it's better in fittment, but this wing is already shipped now and I can't change it.

What do you guys think? Should I just try to get it installed or should I return it and get the s2000 fit?? Wich is gonna cost for return shipping and the price difference.

Anyone here with the universal installed and can show some pics and tell how hard is it to install?

If shipping isnt too terrible then return it. If its a lot to ship it back then try and sell the wing bnib and buy the s2000 wing.

 

I would return it for the S2000 specific one. Having the mounts near the edge of the trunk lid help with visibility as well as potentially provide better support for the curved surface of the foil. I think it looks better too but I in the end I don't think it really impacts performance.

 

There are certainly reasons why APR released an S2000 specific version of their wings. Having the mounts closer to the edges of the trunk is more structurally stable for the trunk lid itself. I would recommend looking into returning it and/or selling it on your own and buying the S2000 specific model.

Can they just exchange the mounts/standoffs or is the whole wing different?
