Default S2000 Specific APR Performance GTC Wing

We got to test APR Performance's new GTC-200 wing for the S2000 at the last Super Street Super Lap Battle. It was the first wing that has rolled off their line and we were lucky enough to get it on the car the day before Super Lap.

What you see is the half height wing stands which don't go all the way to the roof line. They told me they also have full height wing stands which will go all the way to the roof line. We were going for a more streetable look for the car since it is a daily driver.

One the track we you can definately feel the car understeer through the high speed stuff at Buttonwillow, especially on Riverside. On the S2000 you should be able to keep your foot planted the whole way through.

We were the 2nd fastest NA car in the street class, right behind StinkyTofu. All of the turbo cars were kicking our butts that day. For some reason Super Street decided to class all street tire cars in the same class this year.

Fit an finish of the wing is perfect. Very high quality stuff. One other nice touch is that the wind stands mount right at the OEM locations. So even if you remove the wing you won't leak water into the trunk. The OEM water channel will still seal all of the water out of the trunk.

Anyone else running this wing?

Edit: 11/27/07

APR Part number for the S2000 specific wing kit.

PN: AS-105900
MSRP: $725.00

That is a sweet looking component. I'm almost tempted to add it to my wish list, but I don't track enough anymore
