You want opinions from ARC intake owners? I doubt if any of them will be dumb enough to say "Well my intake is for bling look and gain no power." Purchasing this intake at first place seems pretty dumb to many people though. I personally have no idea what kind of drugs they were under when buying this.

I've heard it has major heat soak problems.

As mentioned, it is best enjoyed with the car off and the hood up.

Unless it's mirror polished, of course...

it looks bawwwllinnn but if you just step back and look at the design you can clearly see that heatsoak is imminent. it looks like the same thing as taking off your stock airbox lid.

so much hate for the ARC..

i <3 my ARC, and i could honestly say it pulls a very little bit harder under vtec. it sounds greaat(gives a deep tone) at 5-6k & in vtec it screams.
*for sure a faster throttle response.

Its the sound that makes you think your going faster. Its pretty much fact that the ARC loses power and is just for show, but I personally dont care for the looks either. And whats with the $600 price tag....?

that's what they call, "JDM" Price tag!
But, it's $600. That makes it good, uh, right?

You know, I have to say it does look kinda neat though IMHO. I just wish ARC wouldn't plaster ARC IN JAPAN all over their stuff. Kinda tacky...(this from the guy with CF eyebrows LOL)
