Default arc shift knob

Well looks like there a way to tell an authentic arc knob from a fake or replica, the legit arc is indeed m18x1.5 outer and m10x1.5 inner. Looks like the reps are all m16. So for those wanting confirmation on a legit arc knob there you go. Lastly ive searched high and low ive called go tuning and evasive no luck. Ive searched for a tap or heilacoil deal no luck. Can anyone please help? Moddiction can you make that size? Last resort is take a o2 bung plug because its m18x1.5 drilling the center out tapping it to m10x1.5 an d cut off the nut end and voila. Only problem is I can't find a machine shop to help and ive got no toools.... im open to any other suggestions the last thread was locked and no help

If you cant find an insert, you could remove the old one and fill the hole completely with JB Weld. Then drill and tap that to the correct size to fit the shift lever. Its a ghetto fix but I've seen JB Weld work majic countless other times.

I bought a m18 1.5 bolt, had a machine shop drill and tap the end of the bolt, then cut off a 25mm section of thread. I did this almost 5 years ago and have not had any issues with it.

Yeah unfortunately I don't have that size insert. Just the m16x1.5 OD ones.
