For the "Bling" effect, it's worth every penny.

From a performance aspect, it's a waste of money.

On Dyno's it does not make power (hence the waste of $ comments), sometimes even shows a decrease in peak HP. On the flipside everyone I have talked to that has owned it swears by it. Remember even with giant shop fans they do not simulate driving conditions and do not give actuall gains on most intakes (snorkals, Mugen, J's, ASM etc.)

I think heat soak would only become an issue in stop and go traffic or when the car has been running for a while. When you are driving at speed it should not be an issue, as air is moving thru the engine bay it does not heat up as much as some would have you believe

It is without a doubt one of the nicest looking intakes available for the S

Of course they swear by it, they spent 500+ on something that decreases performance...

Sorry for not being more clear but the people I am referring to would say if it didn't work. I am not talking about high school kids that read Import tuner . I would not bring it up if it was just some kid talking out of his @$$....

Have you ever driven a car with it installed or seen a car dyno with it?

I have the comptech. I like it, but...dont expect to gain gobs of horsepower, it sounds great and it reduces heatsoak that is why it is on my car.

No matter what, if someone spent a lot more than other intakes costs, they are going to be slightly biased.
