You aren't going to save much more money getting one for $160 shipped, so I think you should just buy it. You bought an s2000, not a civic where you can get all the parts for under $100.. If you don't want to pay that much settle for a normal cheapo ebay plate for $60 if you are worried about cash.

I was part of the group buy from auto technik and I installed it without any problems. Fitment was not an issue at all other than just a couple screws taking a few minutes to get bolted in. No cutting or sanding at all. Highly recommend it.

^ Yeah thats what i'm saying. I have also seen a lot of posts that people bought some on Ebay from different sellers and fitment was crap. I would definelty say get the autotechnik one since many people have had good fitment, and you can get them for $160 shipped also. If you want to pay less, get a different cheaper cooling plate. Just my opinion..
