Aut cooling plate

I remember there were a couple guys that said the holes didn't line up perfectly, and they would have to make the hole just slightly bigger to make the radiator stays fit in good. There are 2 little holes on each side of the plate where the stock radiator stays go through them, and its very common for cooling plates to have the holes not spaced out perfectly. I'm not sure if all of them were like that, but I know a few of them had that problem. Nothing a drill can't fix, and you will never notice since the radiator stay will be on there.
Maybe I'll finally pull the trigger on one if so.
No problem, yeah one guy sent his back because he had those issues, i'm not sure if his new one was better or not. It's honestly no big deal to fix it though, you only have to make 2 of the holes in the whole plate slightly larger. A lot of cooling plates have this issue, and the easiest thing to do is just get a drill bit a little bit bigger than the hole and make the holes slightly larger, and the OEM stays will go on no problem. For the price you aren't going to get much better than that. Some of the more expensive cooling plates sometimes have very small issues either with the holes lining up perfect, or hitting the hood. I have an APR cooling plate and other than my old AUT style plate (holes line up perfect but rubbed the hood in some spots even after adjustments) the APR has to be my favorite so far. All the holes line up perfectly, and it doesnt hit the hood at all and the hood sits flush with my front bumper. Also you can get them new for like $130 and the quality is awesome. Not the AUT style but it is a very nice cooling plate.
