Default AUT vs Snorkel....
As far as function goes, what's the difference? I really don't see any. I only see a difference in "bling" factor. Wouldn't the snorkel be a better "direct" mod as far as actual functionality?

Disregarding the sound factor you get with the FIPK, I think an OEM K&N drop-in filter with a gutted stock air box with a snorkel is a cheaper solution compared to an K&N FIPK with a AUT plate.

Or a gutted box with a drop in k&n with the AUT plate will work well.... that's the set up I am going with.

That's my argument though. Wouldn't the snorkel have a more direct and cooler airflow into the intake?
