Ok, you dont have to jack the motor up, or take off the mounts... take a jack, jack up as high as you can go and put on jack stands. Then find a 4x4 block, or something like it and jack up just before you top it out. Take some of that paper it was packed in and wrap around it for when you slide it up... it will scratch the crap out of it if you dont. You have to kinda twist and fiddle with it to get it to fit up right. It goes it 4x easier than the oem came off.

I love the extra o2 bung! And the coating is sexy

Sorry but no. The OEM wiggled out easily, getting the Berk in was a different story. Their's no way you can get it in without undoing the mount and jacking up the motor. Their's just no room. It's not like it was hard to undo a mount and jack it up; I had use of a pit

Put mine in without undo any mounts. Had a tall helper guide me up and attach it to the studs. About an hour total to be out with the old and in with the new.

Interesting. Wonder why I had to. I did the whole install by myself but their was no way I was getting the header up without jacking, no matter what angles I tried.

Your way is probably easier but it can be done. Swing it to the drivers side and angle the front flange up. This is the point where space is tight. And you wanna cover the header to prevent scratches. After that my helper grabbed hold and I got the rest of the flange threw while straightening it into position. I did remove my test pipe for the install, doubt that mattered a ton though.
