I ordered a Berk TP recently for MY04' recently, installed it and ended up with a CEL, found it to be louder (Obviously) and the sand effect flowing through it drove me nuts. Sold it and bought/installed the high flo cat. It sounds about the same as the TP but without the sand. If your contemplating between the two, just go with the high flow cat.

I did. But I also have a catback exhaust. But going from stock cat with exhaust to high flow cat and exhaust, I noticed a little more power and a lot more responsive throttle... It's definitely worth it.

I installed the Berk header and cat with my T1R Sparrow...............Better throttle repsonse and it feels like it pulls harder through the mid-range.

I have a megan TP on my 05 and I love it but also am thinking about the Berk high flow. I don't have issues with CELs but it smells pretty bad. I think the Berk high flow would be better for me too. I loved the sound and power of the TP and hope the Berk will be close...

How much are you guys paying for the Berk?

*********FYI*********
I have a 2008 and I've had the HFC for about 3 weeks now. I also installed the HPC header from berk and a k&n intake. Starting this morning, I started getting the CEL, P0420. It came on during my drive to work, during lunch, went to O'reillys and it turned off as I left the parking lot, then back on when I got to my office.

Hate to hear that. If it was the HFC, we'll probably be hearing much more in the following weeks.
In fairness though, you have made several changes that could work in combination to produce a cel.
Be sure to post if you find a solution or if the cel finally disappears on its own.
Is it possable that the car is now in a learning mode to account for the changes?
