Default Berk Technology Test Pipe Installed:pics and video

Well my test pipe arrived the other day and I installed it and I must say I am happy with the results.

I defiantly noticed a difference in sound which I recorded in a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geN47lPCGt8

The smell which people have mentioned I don't find offensive it just resembles the same smell some motorcycles have with their exhausts.

As for performance gains I do feel a difference even though it may be small I do notice it.

The other big thing I noticed that I don't think has been mentioned before is the weight savings, the stock cat feels that it weighs around 15lbs where as the Berk test pipe weighs about 7lbs.

All and all I am happy with the pipe and have only good things to say about it (other than that after reconnecting my negative on my battery during install my yellow box started acting strange and I need to check over my connections, but thats not because of the test pipe )

Oh I remember when my Berk was that shiny. Not anymore. All you need now is a good, quality exhaust and you will love it!

I am looking into the J's racing Ti ones but am unsure whether the 60mm or the 70mm is a better match for a Kraftwerks SC kit?

Match it up with the size of your exhaust.

what's the diameter for your tp? If it's 63mm then go with 63mm exhaust. If 70, then 70.

Nice pics. I just got the same test pipe too.

Question: If you install an exhaust and an intake too, do you need to get a AFC and a tune up so that the car doesn't run lean? I've searched and couldn't find anything conclusive. I.E. Someone installed a test pipe, exhaust and an intake and did a dyno run to check AF ratios.
