awh man, i know the 06+ are real picky when it comes to taking out the factory cat, but I didn't know that it would still throw a cel even with a defouler. have you tried the T1R or BLOX cel eliminator ?

heard of that happening to some people with the 06+ cel turning on and off every certain amount of miles. does she happen to have a cel fix installed ? Defouler, BLOX, T1R ?

Yes, she has a cel fix. She is running an Invidia 60mm with the Invidia cell fix.

Buy Flashpro. No CEL, more torque and smoother VTEC transition.

Otherwise, I had a "J" shaped defouler on my 06 and had no CEL for about ~150 miles then it came on, didn't go away until I installed Berk HFC, so I bought the Hondata Flashpro.

How many regular straight defoulers were you guys running who got CEL's? just curious bc I'm getting my inspection in 2 weeks and once I get it I will be installing an invidia 70mm TP after (MY06). I ask how many bc I Bought 2 packs of 2. If I run all 4 with only drilling out 2 foulers will that keep the CEL from coming up or is the J hook the only way to go?

Thanks for all the replies guys ! Yeah is the "J" shaped defouler the only way to go with the 06+ ? I've heard the blox or t1r cel fix work as well. Anyone ever give those a shot ?

I want to mention the J shaped defouler that I have comes with 3 different size bits to change the airflow. I went with the middle size opening bit and so far it works.
