Default Berk Test Pipe VS Berk High Flow Cat

I am debating about getting the Berk test pipe or the high flow cat. I am not a fan of smelly cars and do not like being "that guy" in my HOA neighborhood.

Wondering if I just answered my own question lol

You did. The test pipe isn't worth the hassle for a street car.

Thank you for your reply. I had a downpipe on my Mark 4 Supra Turbo that deleted both cats and I could not stand the smell. I removed it after a few weeks.

The HFC itself lets you lower VTEC engagement as-is, is quieter, and doesn't smell. Go HFC.

If you don't like smelly cars, don't get a test pipe. But test pipes do help reduce drone on some aftermarket exhausts when the diameter is matched to the rest of the system.

Also, holler, we've got Berk TP and HFC in stock for a great price.

Its irresponsible, and illegal, to run a tp. Its illegal in some places to run a hfc too, but its so much better for environment than a tp.

Its like the guy that destroys something valuable just to steel something worth a few bucks. Don't be that guy. The amount of damage done to environment from tp vs hfc is tremendous. Its not that much more $, and barely any performance difference, to run a hfc.

I'd deffinetly get the high flow cat. The test pipe is way to loud and you will get random puffs of smoke. Some from idle some from restarts. Wot sounds great but how often are you at wot. And highway drone rattles your head.

Interesting. First I've heard of this. Where did you find this info?
