Have you done a research it's been covered quite a few times you won't get much hp but I had the injen cold air and it sounded amazing and it gave me 2hp so just have to watch out for when it rains alot not to hydrolock your motor

If you want noise, just the lid off your air box. Its not worth hydro-locking your baby for 2HP!

Pop the hood of any stock S2000. Take a look at that intake. You're looking at the best option, and it came with the car.

the stock air box is far from your best option.

When it comes to the S2000, it has been proven that the longer the intake arm, the more power it will make. AEM V2 is probably the longest

I like my J's Racing CK snorkel on the oem sir box, I can't quote any hp or torque gains, but it sucks in colder air and is still very safe against hydrolock, I find that the car runs more consistently throughout the day, where it used to bog down more in hot temps without the snorkel. No sound differences though, same as stock soundwise.

^^ doesn't that create negative turbulence therefore leading to power loss?

What do you think of this intake K&N, Ref. 63-3514? Anyone have this intake?

Amazon is telling me that intake won't fit the s2000, but who knows what that means. I went with the 57-3514. Either way, that model is pretty popular. I just installed one today. Searching the site will give you this page:
