I've never heard that. But I always wondered if it might be a bit more restrictive, though the difference in air temp seems to overcome any design issues as the car runs stronger throughout the day in hot conditions, where it used to bog down. I wanted to get it on the dyno sometime though.

It depends on your model year. 06+ is different I think.

save your money and use stock for ap2, if anything use gutted mod for airbox. believe me the stock airbox is VERY good trust in s2000
