one of honda's restrictions is that it had to make the car pass emissions in 50 states...if you take away that requirement, you can open up extra hp.

Kevlar on Rio or Spa would be spectacular too!

spending more than $300 on an intake is pointless.

Thats cool, but dynos are not going to show the true potential of a snorkal or ram air type intake. It would be better if there were a way to measure the amount of airflow able to get into it at higher speeds....maybe a bench flow test dont know if it would work with an intake though.
When you place your thumb partially covering a garden hose with water flowing out of it what happens?

This intake with that "thin area" has a lot of the same physics of airflow concept. Also consider that this intake has the largest and widest scoop on the market, to ram as much air as as possible into the throttle body.

1. widest scoop in the industry
2. widest mouth
3. largest air power chamber

My photographer did take the pics but he headed off to Las Vegas for the Drift event and forgot to give me the pics. I will not get his pictures back until Monday.

Tan, will there be a version of the pw:jdm intake where the snorkel is as thick that cutting the hood will be necessary?
