uleth I have the same filter as you. Gut the airbox and block off the resonator and you'll get a little more sound.

What about Comptech Air Filter?
http://www.ct-engineering.com/store/product305.html

Which one is better? K&N or CT? CT claims to gain 3Hp on the wheels?

Thanks for any comment

If you want performance those things are a waste of money!!
Same gains you'd get if you just lost a couple gallons of gas and much much more expensive.
I guess some like the looks, but I sure don't know.

Depends really on how one purchased the car. It could be a depreciating asset. In any case, I don't see the point in viewing them as any sort of investment (there are far better investment options as you've implied).

This panel is sold seperately from the airbox. I got one, so my red ASM cooling panel is up for sale.

The Password one does look good and the pricing is not that bad. One thing I dont like is how narrow the snorkal gets to clear the OEM hood (seems like very little air could get through it at speed).

I have a Mugen Replica and it was about $400.00 and uses a filter that can be cleaned and re-used .
