Default Best Test Pipe..

Megan Racing ( resonated) or T1r ( un resonated) wondering which one yall are running and which one would produce more horsepower.. loudness is not a worry.

Thanks,

Jay

Well if loudness is not a worry, I don't see the need for the resonated pipe. I have the Berk Testpipe and have clocked 800+ miles on it and like it a lot. I have a slight rattle noise at during VTEC engagement, I think I tightened the spring bolts too much. I don't see how one test pipe is better than others, it's a pipe! The Berk pipe has the O2 fix built in it, that's why I bought it. As far as HP gains are concerned I felt a difference in engine response and top-end power. I have not dynoned my car, I also have never seen an actual test-pipe dyno on the S2k either. People say the test-pipe can net more gains than a aftermarket exhaust. I am happy with mine.

A pipe is a pipe,no rocket science there,given the same I.D.
I have Megan,never had a CEL,or a problem.

I have no direct experience with the 2 TPs in the S, but from my miata experience which is very similar, a resonated TP was proven to make significant enough torque compare to a straight-thru' TP to make a very noticeable different.
