i was wondering if the new CR interior parts were interchangeable with my01? the only thing that i want is i only have 2 speakers and they have 8. if i wanted to change out the two speakers in the rollbar and behind the seat and the tweeters can i do that and then just put in and wire the speakers i wanted? i have a sub in my trunk but have no room and i'm getting tired of that. thanks guys

 

You should ask this on the electronics forum. I wasn't aware the newer models have 8 speakers!

 

Unless you're a total Honda whore I'd go with aftermarket. Dollar for dollar you'll get a better system if you work with a reputable installer.

 

When I bought my 04 used, it was 8 speakers because previous owner had installed the Honda one behind the headrest. I didn't know it costs like $500 to get one from HandAaccessories O.o. Going aftermarket should be way cheaper.
