Here is my Professional Products 68mm throttle body test fitted to my manifold. Notice the good sized lip all the way around. I also measured it with my calipers and it is a true 68mm all the way through.

 

Hi I have an AP1 with some mods, exhaust, fidanza flywheel etc.

My most recent mod was an OBX 72mm throttle body. It's larger than the oem manifold intake , so later on I'm going to port-match the manifold, but for now I've just installed it without any port matching.

It's one of the mods that I've noticed more changes, you get better mid range torque, and high revving in conjunction with the 70mm exhaust is just beautifull!

I'm very happy with it.

Just for information, don't forget that you'll have to mod your TPS mouting position for the new Throttle Body.

 

A big throttle is pointless if it's not port matched. Also, what do you mean about the TPS? It looks like it should bolt right on.

 

Nice straight thru haha.yea mine and others I've had taper down.someone said that is better to taper to force in but some say different I'm no scientist so idk
