I've been looking all over the internet for the springs rate on the PSS's and I have failed miserably .. Does anyone know the spring rates on the PSS's

 

Bilstein PSS9
Fr: 345 lb with 85 lb helper springs
Rr: 285 lb


OEM Spring rates by year (front/rear)
MY00-01 = 218/291
MY02-03 = 240/230
MY04-07 = 256/207
MY08-UP = 274/225
MY08 CR = 375/264

 

The springs on my esplelir ASD's are F(5.3kg), R(7.0kg) and i'm on oem shocks right now ... Will the Bilstein PSS be considerably stiffer? I'm asking because my car rubs like crazy in the back even after rolling my fenders so I was going to resort to stiffer suspension and running more camber.

 

your springs are backwards... unless you're rolling non-OEM wheels. i RAN these springs on KONI yellows and i did not have any rubbing action in the rear w/ 255/40/17.

I dont think stiffer springs are going to solve your problem. You're either too low or your wheel offset isn't right, or your tires are too wide.

I'm running streched tires on all 4 and they still rub ... I'm not running any camber though. (OEM alignment -1.99 in the rears)

I think I'm going to just keep my espelir/oem shock set up and run about -2.5 to about -3.0 camber in the back and see if that helps. My tires don't rub on my fender anymore (cause I rolled it) they're rubbing against my rear bumper now ... which is why I think stiffer suspension would work. It's just I don't have the funds right now to buy full on coilovers ... any other ideas you guys wanna throw out there that can stiffen my suspension up without hurting my wallet?

 

I'm having the same problem with my PSS. My fenders are rolled but it rubs on the rear bumper. I'm waiting to put my new bumper on and will be trimming it so that I don't cut into my tires anymore.

 

Lawl, guess getting the PSS's are out of question then ... Are you running any negative camber? and what offset rims are you running?
