Hello I am researching on a new set of coilovers and the PSS9 is the my first choice. However I just have one question about my current set up.

MY02 is stock with Tein S-Techs. Every time that I take a hard right turn, it would sound like it's rubbing on the rear passenger wheel. Are my shocks starting to blow? Or is my car just too low with the s-techs. This problem has been bothering me so i decided to go with coilovers. Any feedbacks?

How much improvement in ride quality should I expect? Everybody says they are like stock but is that stock AP1 or AP2. I drove my friends 07 ap2 and the ride quality was night and day compared to my02. I love the s2000 and she is my daily driver and I would like the ride quality to be similar to that of the 07 ap2. Any feedback would help. thanks

it utilizes your OEM top mounts.

You will need a spring compressor to disassemble your stock shocks
I am considering these as well and was wondering if someone can post or knows the OEM parts needed from the stock shock assembly to do the install?

I don't want to take apart my stock shocks.

I'd rather purchase those OEM parts I need to assemble the PSS9's.

Also, does this kit come with bump stops or is that one of the parts I'll need to purchase?

not sure why you'd want to do it that way but..

no. 002 for the back (at magestic) and #007 for the frnt

BASE, SHOCK ABSORBER MOUNTING (SHOWA)

I think thats it... any one else?
I've had mine for a while now...

Oh, and you don't need a spring compressor to get the OEMs apart or to put the Bilsteins together...

Just a quick question: Does going lower than the recommended height have any negative affects on the shock body?

I'm still confused as to the optimal combination of settings (height, damper, and alighnment) for spiritted winding roads, daily driving, but not track per say, with good tire wear). I want to lower the car for optimal handling rather than looks. In my stock 07 I went with more negative front and rear camber than oem. Who can make recommendations?

Thanks,

Ken
