What up PSS9 owners!!!
I'm planning to purchase PSS9 within a month and wanted to know what camber and toe setting you guys have. I will track the car once or twice a year, but the setting will be set for daily driving. I do not want an uneven tire wear. If you have suggestions to the setting I'd be much obliged.
BTW, I'm inquiring of the camber setting with the OEM camber adjustments. I'm not planning to purchase an aftermarket camber kit.
Thanks in advance!

if you're car is mostly street only with once or twice a year 'let's have fun on the track' deal...i would drop it to your desired height then take it to an alignment shop and tell the tech to match rear to rear and the same for fronts.

FYI, camber/toe setting will be different for every car because the height would be different.

If I asked the question wrong then I apologize, but I guess I'd really like to know what set up people have of their cambers and height for their daily.
I agree w/ Stratocaster --
These are (obviously) not the best track coilovers...
but they're Bilsteins -- a company w/ some serious background in racing suspension.
Very responsive -- very firm in the twisties but at the same time, you don't feel like you've replaced all your OEM bushings with aluminum race bushings
If your just going to get on the track a couple of times a yeah -- these are perfect.
--- on a side note, Leo --- English is your friend... you'd come off as not such a troll if you tried to use it....

PSS9 can go as low as approx 1 finger gap between fender and tyre, how do I know? because I just lowered my car to the lowest setting with PSS9.
This is with 225/45/17 RE55S.
FYI, they handle better than my stock (my stock sussy it's pretty old), much more stable, less nose dive under braking, it's still quite firm for street use and yeah it gives you confidence to push your car at higher speed around the track.
I'm happy with PSS9 for the price that I paid.
Alignment setting before lowering:
-1 F & -2 R camber
0 F & +6mm R toe
6" F & R caster

if u going to track ur car, don't get PSS9, it's nothing diffrent with the stock ap2, just some more adjusting lvls..
if u really want a good track and street suspension, get the k&w v3.

Thanks for the feedback. How long have you had the pss9's? with these camber and toe settings, do the tires wear evenly? In addition, what's your tire settings all around? I'm assuming the 225/45/17 are fronts, but what about the rear? Are you running something close to 245 or 255?
Thanks!

And on top of it, your logic makes no sense: I have an AP1, and the PSS9's are definitely stiffer on all settings than my OEM suspension was. I know that for a fact, on my car, with me driving. Not on someone else's car, with them driving, taking their word for it as you described. It's generally accepted that the AP1 OEM suspension "feels" stiffer than the OEM AP2 suspension (not necessarily better, just a feel), so for you to say that the PSS9's are "nothing different than the stock AP2" is just asinine.
Are they the "best" track coilover? No. There is no such thing. PSS9's offer superior damping while retaining streetability. They are a compromise coilover that you can drive on the street during the week and the track on the weekends.
If all you want is super-duper-stiff, just buy some low-end Teins so you can put green crap all over the place and brag to your friends about how "track-oriented" your suspension is as you drive around on the street
jungliano,
Your Alignment guy can set your car up so the tires will not wear unevenly. That is however less than a performance alignment. That means less camber and less toe.
Camber is what eats the tires on the inside on a street car. On a track car, the same alignment wears evenly.
So mine is a on the low end of the stock range, mirrored on both side exactly. Not just close. My ride height is stock, using PSS9. Houston is pot hole central, and too many 4" speed bumps.

I run mine at the lowest height recommended in the PSS9 manual (not the lowest possible), with the UK-Spec alignment. So far I dont have much to compare it to other than stock specs/coils, since I'm still on my first alignment with the PSS9's. Car feels stiffer without being jarring, much more planted and predictable around corners. I have no track/auto-x data with this setup yet.
