You won't have any issues. Too many skeptical s2k owners on here. For the record I original designed this and sold the rights to Blox. It ran successfully on our first prototype car, (BC/Cwest S2000) I also have it on my current time attack car as well as my street S2000. I designed it in 2008 and still have it in my street car. It's based on the same concept as the K series yet improved to not have the issues as the K series OEM unit. The same design works flawless on a lot of different OE ratchet type tensioner. Personally, I'm not a fan of the S2000 worm gear style especially if you are going to run aftermarket valve springs.

It'd be interesting to hear Billmans take on this.

I would not trust any critical engine part to something made by Blox. Fine for a shift knob or vtec solenoid cover or other stuff they market, never would I trust them for the TCT on this motor, not even for free.

I'll trust them for halfshaft spacers (hard to mess up a chunk of aluminum that's getting compressed; not so much for complex parts without a proven track record.

I could not have said it better. There is a good reason that anything Blox has not been mounted to any of my S2000.

Have you communicated directly with Bill?

I recall the hangup on international shipping for Billman was the need to get the original Honda TCT and screws back. His unit is built on that core and he wants the original mounting screws back to ensure the new install is using his provided screws which I believe are shorter.

Street price for the Tensioner, Cam Chain - Honda (14510-PCX-005) is US$180 (€160) and entails no risk of function or damage to the engine.
