Default Bride Seat Install Question

After 5 months of waiting, I just got my Bride GIAS seat with the low max seat rails today and was wondering if I needed to warn my installer, (jcauto spec, if you're familiar with Austin), about any airbag, seatbelt or any other sensors that might be attached to the seat in an attempt to make for a simple hassle free install. Keep in mind that the 2007 S2000 I have has some differences between previous years (which is why I had to cancel my order for my Mugen roll bar, which won't fit a 2007 S2000). I will be for the time being using the Bride seat with stock seat belts as my Takata's are waiting for a proper roll bar to be made Which makes me also want to make sure there won't be an issue using this seat with the stock seatbelt.

Anyone with experience with a 2007 would be fantastic!

I should have mentioned that I'm only concerned about the driver's side for now. However, I may get the Bride Stradia for the passenger side before too long... so a distant secondary concern is if there would be any issues with mounting a seat to the passenger side. I know that King Motorsports says the passenger side floor well is different than previous years... thus the Mugen roll bar won't fit. I would also guess that the passenger airbag sensor needs something to make it continue to work without being able to sense the weight of a passenger in the seat as it does now.

There is a sensor on the driver side you will have to remove from the seat and just keep under new seat. As for the seat belt sensor, it is no problem as you don't even have to re-connect it.

The passenger side is a whole other story. 06+ require a different rail and I think there are only 2 that fit, the Buddy Club (I am using now) and another rail I forgot the name of. I think SOS carries it. The other problem is the weight sensor on the passenger seat. There is no way to not trigger this SRS light that I know of. Someone please me me know if there is! That light bugs the #@$ out of me.

Cool. What's the sensor under the driver's seat for?

FYI, if I ever find a way to fix the passenger side sensor I'll let you know.

love that signature line you have... lol.

Any more ideas on this? I'm scheduled to have the seat installed on Monday and was hoping more people had experience in dealing with this. Should I be worried about anything with this install?

Thanks!
Robert

My 05 stock seat belt receptacle had a 3/4" inch piece of metal that was at a 90 degree angle to the rest of the receptacle. To get the whole thing to fit on my Bride seat, i had to bend that piece of metal so that it was straight with the receptacle. Pliers worked for me.

That was the trickiest part of the install.
