I took my headlights off today to find broken tabs. I guess the original owner had it broken and lost the piece that broke off. any ideas how to make a replacement?

 

If you had the broke tabs you could use PVC black glue to reattach. You can make new tabs out of PVC plastic. You will need new threaded clips to reattach the headlight after the repair.

find some junk plastic thats the same, from anything really, cut a piece out and plastic weld it with a soldering iron and cable ties as filler rod.

you could also make a small alum bracket and rivet it on, then use silicon to seal the rivet hole.

 

Good idea. I have a headlight that could use this fix too.
