Default Buddy Club Tail Lights

Anyone running these? Impressions? I've bought a set but not installed (car still in storage). I'm not entirely sold on them yet and would love to see some real world pics. Especially before and after...
Ya - they were pretty expensive...

Those lights look nice and well made and I'm sure would modernize the rear end to a BMW/Audi/MB look today. But for me the original tail lights are one of the iconic design elements of the car. Just my $0.02...styling is all subjective and personal preference.

Here is one with some nice day and night shots.

If you google it there are tons of videos and pictures on it. I'm sure you can find some before and after looks. I think they look cool but I would not put them on mine because I am not planning to mod mine and I prefer the OEM look. Now, if you have a modded s2000 I think these would fit in the look nicely.

Yeah - I'm really not sure anymore about these anymore - thanks for the vid link - I've seen it before. I'm trying to find some before and after shots of mostly stock looking cars. The vids and pics out there are on heavily modded (aesthetically) cars which I think these suit but a mostly stock car it may look goofy.

Any reason you bought the lights before you looked into how they would look on the car? Are these one of those really rare items where you just have to buy one if it comes up for sale?

I bought em while messing around online on a flight. It was an impulse purchase LOL.
I may just throw em on and see how I like em. Doesn't seem like the pics I'm hoping to find exist. LOL. Oh well...

Headlights with diffused LEDs I'd be all over.

These tail lights, however, I think are not as nice as AP2 tails, but might be nice to modernize stock AP1s.

If you considering about selling it I might buy it.

I have a set of these lights and love the look but I also have a short duckbill and rear valance, not sure how they would look on a stock looking rear. Edit: And your answer is above!

started leaking after the second wash. The tail lights came “sealed” with weatherstripping that didn’t last. I heard others had the same problem and buddyclub supposedly fixed the issue with the second batch. It looks like the issue can be addressed with better weatherstripping and if necessary, some silicone. I rather go back to OEM. If you’re more DIY, these would be a cost effective alternative.
