Camber kit? HELP
I recently installed Espilir ASD's and waited about three weeks for them to settle before I got my alignment. I went to a very respectable shop and took the specs for a UK alignment.
I told the tech what I wanted and he said no problem. When I got the car back he said that it was too low to get to -1.7 in the rear and he had it at around -2.5. He said if I wanted it to get any better I will need a camber kit.
I have read many threads on the subject and I was under the impression that the S2000 had enough adjustability so that it would not need a camber kit. The car is an AP1 and is about an inch and three quarters lower than stock.
So my question, Is the tech right? Do I really need a camber kit? If so, what brands do most people use and what can I expect to pay?
TIA

That doesn't seem right to me. I've had two S2000s lowered at least 1.75' and have had the rear adjusted to -2 deg.

I just don't want to take it somewhere else and have them put it on the rack and get everything set up for the alignment only to tell me they can't get it any better.
I thought the car had adjustability that low.

You should not need a camber kit.
What the best thing to do would be, take it to a alignment shop and see what they can get out of it. The stock adjustments will move quite a bit so I dont think you will have a problem.
