Unhappy ? CAMS FOR 06

i have been considering cams & was wondering if they make much power or if they are even worth doing.

i want to know if anyone has put them on an ap2. i know skunk makes cams also there is hytech cams. if there is anyone that has them or has done them & is not satisfied info would be appreciated. power gains and what mods were done with cams.

thank you in advanced.

There are no cams for any year that are readily available that make power.

Hytech cams are reported to make power, but you can expect up to a 6 month wait to get them. And I don't think anyone has shown dyno increases without having added many other mods as well.

I believe there was a discussion of the Skunk2 cams, the end results were disappointing. As negcamber mentioned, the Hytech cams make power, but the wait is long.

IMO, as of now, cam upgrades are not worth it. Especially if you do not have the standard supporting mods.
