Hi all,

I was in the process of putting the cams back into the cylinder head when I come across this little oil covered bastard.

I just need to know where it goes. Any help is appreciated.

 

It looks like the piece that locks out the vtec love. Basically inside the big lobe.

 

That's what I thought too, but those are hollow. This piece happens to be solid.

there is the head diagram and I don't see anything similar. Even the dowels are hollow I believe. Hopefully someone has the right answer for you!
