Default is this normal?

I noticed this oil resiude on the cylinder head where the belts and pullies are, theres always oil residue there, everytime I wipe it off a month later it re-appears.

Does anyone have this issue as well? or is this not an issue at all?

Here are some pics of what I'm talking about

Thanks!

I would check the torque on those bolts then see if it re-appears. Hope not, Good luck

looked at it closer, definitley looks like something in the cast. i'm not sure if tightening down those bolts would do anything. jb weld might hold it for a bit.

It's a Porous casting, and not performance issue. You could mix up some JB Weld epoxy and apply a thin coat to the leak area to prevent it from coming back. There is no pressurized oil supply behind the cylinder head in that location.

Porous castings are not that common, and I've epoxied up several of them.

is this a defect? should I be worried and will it cause any problems down the road?

Technically it is a defect, but I wouldn't replace the cylinder head to repair. If you car was still under warranty Honda would epoxy it 1st.
