Can't find the thread. Red DIY dash lights
I used some semi-transparent dividers, stacked thickly. Last night in the house they looked thick enough to do the job, even when held up to a light, but when I got it all back in the car it was easy to see through them.
This time I got some plastic folders from office depot and they work great. Before it was clearly a at-home diy job, whereas now it looks somewhat professional, I'd say. I'll think about putting up some shots in the other thread once I get it all buttoned up.

I just used transparent sheets and the colors are very very nice but I can see the tape i used to hold them together which is not good. I cut up a plastic milk jug since you can't see through that really and that might the light perfect but can still see the tape which sucks. I think I am just going to pull it out and do it all 1 color most likely. Gonna try the blue with the hazed clear plastic sheet behind it. I'll see how it turns out.
Could work. I'm not very happy with some of my transitions, and there's a bit of overlap and leaking, but honestly, for like $4 and a couple hours, it's decent. Now I've just got to massage the cluster surround back on...
