Default Car Wrap

I ordered the 3M 1080 Matte Black Car wrap. I'll be wrapping my 06 S2 next weekend. I'm going to make a video of the install and let you guys know how it comes out. I know many other guys on the forum have also done the wraps and said it's VERY tedious work. Hopefully I'll be able to manage it. Pics and Vids coming next weekend.

Price can actually get very close to the amount of a paint job depending on who does it (resulting in quality of the wrap)

Best thing to do is go to a local junk yard and get a small piece to practice with. That way when you get around to doing the whole car you will have a better understanding on how to lay it down correctly. Did you get the vinyl that stretchs when heat is applied or just the peal and stick?

It's the 3m 1080. It doesn't need heat on most panels, but does need it for somethin like the mirrors or bumpers. It's safe to do on the car. I wouldn't have to practice on another junk car because it peels off with light heat. It's extremely flexible and has a new design that allOwa air to be released through bubbles with its new pourus design.
