Car Wrap
I have Plasti-Dipped my s2000 from spa yellow to matte white and let me just tell you... I have peeled off vinyl off multiple cars and when you peel the vinyl off, PAINT COMES OFF. When I peeled off the plasti dip, no paint came off. I just had to wax it very well and buff it to keep it safe from the sun. Go to www.facebook.com/dipngo and check out their page. Jesse, the owner has many pictures and videos on his plasti-dip page. Plasti dip works well it just depends on WHO does it... DONT VINYL THE CAR IF YOUR PLANNING TO TAKE THE VINYL OFF...
It should range from about $450-$600 for a quality vinyl.
There are also plenty of people that have removed vinyl with no issues. It has a lot to do with the vinyl you use, how it's applied, how long it's been on and how you go about removing it. Plasti-Dip is an interesting option but usually results in a somewhat textured finish, and you pretty much have to stick with matte colors as the glossifier you can add for a gloss finish doesn't give a great result across an entire car. Yes, you can get very good results with plasti-dip if you do it right, but you can't discount vinyl either as it has it's advantages as well. Mainly that if you want a gloss or metallic finish, it will look much better than dip because dip is still paint and if you can't wetsand it, gloss finishes will never be perfect.
