I doubt it will be much cheaper than JDM ones though, I mean your not going to get a CF top for the price of OEM . It would need to be much thicker than the PWJDM intake to prevent massive amounts of flexing and keep the rear window in place (more material more $$$) +if they will need molding and hardware to mount it to the car (OEM Hardware is the best for the hardtops out IMHO) all that will push the price up ...

I would totally be for it. I really love the OEM style but it's SO expensive. Please Please make something like it, but affordable!

if pwjdm makes it, it will probably look like something out already
Reinventing the wheel... how many variations of the hardtop can there be?

An OEM in carbon, dry carbon, or carbon kevlar would be awesome, but PWJDM doesnt really do "been done" production.

As far as copying the Amuse design, didn't they copy OEM, not that im saying anythign is wrong with that. The roof line is different as it doesn't allow you to have the OEM softop installed.

Don't get me wrong or anything, I love the poroducts of PWJDM. Are you sure they don't reproduce stuff that is alreadsy out there? The intake that they have is basically a reproduction of ASM intake. Their 3 pt. Brace for em1, replica of the carbing brace? Like I saod, they do make great products and if they make a replica of the oem great, but they did say that they would make their own style. So we shall see what they come up with.

a strut/tower bar is a strut/tower bar is a strut/tower bar. there are only so many ways you can bolt one of those to any particular chassis...

the spoon intake came out then it was incorporated into the mugen design and was incorporated into the J's which incorporated into the Gruppe M which was copied by the ASM which was copied by PWJDM...

I dont see it as making knock offs if anything its just companies making things better.
