Default Catcher assembly kit

Can anybody help me out on this. Recently bought a hardtop for my S2K without realising I needed a catcher assembly kit to hold the hardtop too the car! I've done the research bit a little late and found out that this kit, which is essentially just 2 hinges cost more than the hardtop itself. Anybody help!!!

If you don't plan on removing your hardtop regularly, than you can get the izzy race brackets (or street brackets if you are keeping the softtop). That will only run you a little over 100.

Thank you for your help, that is defiantly looking like the better option as I plan to mainly use the hardtop in the winter months!
Do you know if I would have to make much modification on the hard top, for instance would I have to take off the pins that go into the catchers(lol that I don't have) if so is this a pain?
