i can see what you mean about tacky, and normally I wouldn't put a brand on another item, but the thing is something draws me to having mugen parts since they're practly honda parts(honda's son) and i love honda. I just love the way the mugen badge/decal/etc. looks.my main thing was to get the original mugen cover, and i would've paid $300 for it, but not $429. everyone can think its a mugen part, but i know its not and besides i'd never say its a mugen part, it my take on a mugen part. (for my hood i always say mugen style, but its a seibon)besides the decal isn't an original mugen item either since the longest mugen decal is only 6" and it had to be longer this one is 9.5". I pay attention to detail and that's why im going for Industrial design to be a car designer.
and anyway when you think about it most items are bland like the APR cf cover, and it needs something to spice it up like a logo.

you could probably come up wit a better sticker though it will make it look cleaner

well i thought the one i bought was gloss white, but its actually metallic white which is really bright under camera flash.
