If you were to take out the rear tray where the soft top lays can you notch the plastic and fab a brace ?? then just replace the tray ?? just curious ? If so someone should make it hahaha

The CR steering brace, recommended by Honda. If they could have slapped another brace on the car they would have, but they didn't, exc. at the rear, where you can't have a soft top.
I have to disagree with you. cost is a large consideration as well. The steering stiffiner bar stock on the CR is a small part and likely wouldnt cost much.

But bolting on chassis bracing isnt an OEM honda way to do things, more likely they would redesign the whole subframe which would be prohibitively expensive and if they did chassis bars you can figure they'd be very expensive as well and outweigh the benefits if provided and designed by Honda.

After all why doesnt Honda supply S2000s with VOLK lightweight wheels factory? or a lighter exhaust? Cost.

X brace makes an immediate and noticeable difference. Add a floor bar (3 pc reinforcement bar) and the car definitely feels different - better - less roll and more direct steering feel. X brace/floor bar combination will give similar chassis bracing to the FM butterfly brace.

Strut braces and rear tie bar made very little difference to mine.

If I was only doing one brace I'd get the whiteline copy X brace on ebay - cheap and effective.

i have the front strut tower bar, and i think that makes a HUGE difference! i took it off to get at the air filter element and then i drove it around the block without the STB (Spoon), and then turn in felt very soft, mushy and not tight at all, probably due to body roll.

that being said, the rear lower tie bar, i have and i can't feel it at all. it just gives me the satisfaction that i know ppl that are behind me will see the bling (i anodized it gold )

All you need to be fast is a good set of shocks, an adjustable front sway bar, and maybe a bsk. I wouldn't bother with anything else-- its just weight.
