In that price range, Megan seems to be a good choice when you use the rest of Megan's exhaust. We had an s2k dyno day yesterday and the big surprise was an '01 with only mods being Megan header+test pipe+exhaust that put down 209whp on a DynoDynamics, which was 5whp more than the highest ap2 (stock or otherwise). The same car made 195whp stock using the same dyno with the same correction factor.

i agree with eri_s2k. this is originally a 30k+ car with a basically maxed out engine and you expect there to be some magical cheap header that is going to produce significant gains? its just not gonna happen. i don't know why people buy this car without doing at least some research beforehand. i think its funny when people think they can go to (insert random parts store here) and buy an intake then think they have a race car. ah, i could go on more but i will stop here

the j's header is expensive and doesnt perform well. just bc it is jdm and expensive doesnt mean its good. chris at inlinepro had the j's header and he lost power. he sold it immediately.
