Scrap the thought of a header and spend your $500 on something else. I'm sure someone here can think of something that will give you more ponies than a header for that price.

or i would save up if you are truly on a budget and go for the megan header/TP/exhaust combo in the groupbuy forum - if its still there. Then just get a vafc and tune

Havent you seen this thread?

Basically he installed a berk header and LOST horsepower. Then he installed a test pipe and gained a little over stock.

Ive noticed good results here on the forum with the Megan header.
That was not a proper comparison. If I wanted to, I can make any part (header, intake, exhaust, etc) make or loose power depending on how I do the test. Haven't you guys seen the latest dyno from Injen that shows their intake making 10 rwhp?

Ask anyone who owns our header and they'll tell you.

Hope that helps.....

For a noticible difference try to do a little weight reduction and get a test pipe from megan or someone else (do a search), they are relatively cheap and have decent gains. There are also some cold air intakes out there that claim to give somewhat of a gain. I've heard some say they like their aem V2's. They will at least give you an aggressive sound. and are CHEAP. there are some video's on youtube.com that you can check out to sample sounds and whatnot. Good luck with finding what you want!

they look like copies of the megan header. I'm getting one for $99 shipped and getting it dyno'd afterwards. either I sell it back on ebay and don't loose any money or I stop people from knocking on ebay headers. lol

I have bought the following items off of ebay and all were new and in the branded package they should have been in. I think they are real... If not they are damn good knock-offs because they have held up, look good and I feel have added power with the CAI and TP for sure.

-K&N CAI $170 + shipping
-Megan TP $60 + shipping
-USASPEC IPOD connection $119 + shipping
-Mugen Alum. front strit bar $45 + shipping
-Honda JDM clear side markers $14 + shipping
-No name open ended black alum. lugs $30 + shipping
-No name alum. front grill set (AP2) $90 + shipping

I don't knock ebay at all anymore, you just have to be smart about it. I am thinking about picking up one of those $100 knock-off Megan headers too. One of the guys on this forum bought one and said that the from address was Megan... Maybe it just didn't meet spec... I'll take a gamble on a part like that. If it cracks or my ass dyno doesn't like it I will put stocky back on.

Let me know where you buy it from so I can get from there mine too. If you don't mind...
