Default Cheaper alternative to krank vents?

I have recently had a bunch of smoke coming out of my exhaust at times and thinking it is from oil getting sucked through the PCV. I have heard that krank vents would help this problem.
I don't feel like spending $100+ or whatever it is they go for. I know there are much cheaper alternatives around.
So just looking to see what the best option would be that keeps the costs down.
I think I bought a PCV a good while ago as I had read that was a good way to do it.
Any input on it?

Nice thanks man!
Another question now. I have that vacuum line from the valve cover to intake arm blocked off with just a mini breather filter.
So I guess I won't need that part but would that cause any issues then with this system?

This is how i did mine. Works well. I don't run the front one though, so I don't get any of the vacuum. I hated the sparkplug well noise, and my timing chain cover crank gasket was hissing. I kept the supra valve to help keep boost out.

Ok sounds good.
If I am getting smoke out my exhaust after a hard highway pull is that most likely from oil getting sucked through the pcv? I am supercharged currently. Never noticed this before a week or two ago.
If that was the issue would the supra pcv block that boost from getting into the crank case and spitting oil into manifold I guess?

Ok just found a supra PCV I had laying around I got from carquest a year or two ago.
One way i can blow super easily through it. The other way is very hard but seems like a tiny amount of air will go through. Is it normal for a slight amount to go through when blowing on it?

More than likely it's good. We can't blow even close to 1psi, so your charger will put way more force on the seat and seal it.

I don't know that the stock PCV will fail. I just did it to play around I guess. As far as your smoke, are you sure it's oil? Is it at WOT or once you lift? I know some of those kits run rich up top and that blows black puffs that go away quickly. Of course if it's bluish you know it's oil. Have you done a compression check lately? If you have a low cylinder, drop some oil in it and see if it seals.

I am pretty sure it is oil. It seems to happen after going wot and then slowing down and then tapping the gas from a stop. Goes away after the first couple steps on the gas afterwards. I did a compression test recently but not since I saw a little bit of oil.
Did it a few thousand miles ago and was 230 across the board.
I am def NOT running rich wot. Wish I was lol. Running a little lean. Like high 12's but only running 7 psi vortech.

Why not vent the the PCV and front breather to the bottom of the car?
