u could always do a fiberglass enclosure over ur soft top, and then ull have a hardtop!

I absolutely love the Mugen HT's. Makes the car look incredible, but I have the top down over half the time i drive the car.
There are several replica tops that you can get for around a grand.

Not really surprising. This car is in a slightly higher "class" than others on the road. Parts simply cost more, and the hardtop is a pretty large piece (made by Honda). A used engine is simply a used engine and shouldn't be compared to the price of a hardtop.

hardtops = hype... and the S2k is still in production, wait a few years from now, $3000 will seem like a steal

welp... ive been looking into having a hardtop molded onto the car and making it an actual coupe thats why im not worried about fitment issues... what do yall think??

Doesn't sound like a bad idea until it comes time to sell or trade. You'll need to subtract mega bucks if you turn this car into a "fixed" HT.

Sounds like a stupid idea.

Molded with what? Bondo? It's going to crack and look like ass in no time flat.
