Default Clear Bra on a lip

So, I picked up a new OEM AP2 Lip, and someone suggested that I put a clearbra on it for about 70 bucks. Has anyone done that to their lips? did it help protect it from scratches and rocks? Is it worth it?

helps keep the paint looking nice.

won't really protect too much from scratches, but definitely from rock chips.

I have not picked up a lip yet to put on the clear bra, but when I buy a lip in the near future, I think its a great investment to keep the paint in great shape. I currently have the clearbra on my front end, and it has saved me from many rock chips, seeing the mini dents on the clearbra.

i did it to my CR lip, along with the entire front end when i got it repainted. i hope to ALWAYS have one on my cars as it does wonders, i use to hate washing my car an get to the bumper and not beable to tell if it was bugs or rock chips on it. Now 2 years later, it still looks new. Best investment ever, sure i could have dropped the 600 i spent on the clear bra on some go-fast parts, but then i'd just have mods on a rock chipped car
